YOUR ULTIMATE GUIDE FOR YOUR SATURN RETURN
The Saturn Return is a powerful and transformative time in our lives. Saturn, known as the taskmaster and the bringer of maturity, takes roughly 28.5 years to go around the Sun. We watch cycles of Saturn to determine which area of our lives requires us to buckle down and dig into the trenches to create something of value. Saturn can bring difficult times of passage, but once we learn its lesson, we are forever changed. The late 20s and early 30s are when the first Saturn Return takes place. This is when we astrologically “reach adulthood” – as opposed to 18. We again experience another Saturn Return around our late fifties and early sixties. Here is a quick list of things we must realize before or during our Saturn Return.
LET GO OF CONTROL AND RESPECT AUTHORITY.
When we are being forced to level up and mature, we have to understand power dynamics. Sometimes this manifests as having to learn to serve others or be subservient. We cannot control everything around us and that in itself can be humbling.
WORK HARD OR PAY THE PRICE.
Working hard is a part of life and we must put effort into projects, goals, and relationships. Nothing comes easy – especially now – so be prepared to grind. If you don’t and you become lazy, you’ll never get where you want to be. Sacrifice is important to make progress.
KARMA WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU.
If you’ve done some negative things, expect them to come back to haunt you. If you haven’t, expect to be rewarded with blessings from a loving Universe.
This is a time when you must shoulder burden in order to know how strong you can be. Without tests of your physical, mental, or emotional strength, you do not know how mighty you are.
FORGET YOUR EGO AND SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE.
No one cares how great you think you are. Neither does Saturn. If your arrogance is unchecked, expect to see it struck down like a falling tower. Being humble will help you appreciate life with gratitude.
MORTALITY IS REAL. YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE.
With age, comes wisdom. However, mortality is a very real thing and while in youth we may feel we are limitless, the Universe knows otherwise. This will cause a serious time when you contemplate your life, your body, and the choices you are making.
IT ISN’T ALL FUN AND GAMES.
We often feel more introspective at this time. Consider the importance of serious issues – personally, professionally, and on a global scale.
FOCUS ON LONGEVITY.
Be prepared to lay down important roots that will set up the next 30-year cycle of your life. This is usually a time when important decisions are made that you want to stand the test of time. Many people begin or end significant relationships, change their career paths or launch to the next level, have a child, buy a house, or invest in something with very large circumstances.
THE UNIVERSE WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY.
Even though things may feel a bit tough or cold at times, this is a passing matter. The Universe wants you to reap rewards, build the life of your dreams, and have the most fulfilling relationships. You must accept the lessons that come and integrate them into your new world view in order to be the best version of yourself. Learn from everything and know that you are meant to be happy, so invest in your life and your future.
