OCTOBER 2025 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

October is here and we will be experiencing a sudden shift in the planets. First and most importantly, is that we are still in eclipse season—the time when fated events often take place—until October 21, 2025. Eclipse season always lasts a month before and after an eclipse takes place, so destined situations could still be occurring in the initial weeks of the month. Next to note on a general sense is that Mercury begins to slow down this month, too, starting on October 21, 2025—this retrograde takes place in the seas of Scorpio and skies of Sagittarius, so we will uncover secrets and face our shadow selves during the actual retrograde beginning next month. Last to mention is that we have some powerful energy of synergy taking place at the end of the month—with multiple Grand Trines (a triangle of harmony in the sky) taking place from October 22 until October 26. Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, and Saturn are all involved, which can certainly bring a lot of good news, especially when it comes to long-term planning and taking action. Jupiter, our planet of blessings, will journey into the zodiac sign of Cancer beginning on June 9, 2025 to remain until June 30, 2026. This is one of the most fortunate periods of the Jupiterian cycle, as our Great Benefic is known to be “exalted” in this Water sign. This means that our mighty planet can distribute his greatest blessings, luck, and opportunities to the entire world—regardless of one’s individual zodiac sign. Jupiter, as an archetypical influence, is tied to spirituality, hope, compassion, good will, fortune, favor, generosity, optimism, and faith. Cancer, as a Cardinal Water sign, is aligned with emotion, our roots, family, domesticity, and the home. Yet, the best part of this particular transit is that Jupiter can radiate true humanitarian compassion, allowing us to work in serenity, at peace, and with love. With so much sensitive energy being amplified through the cosmos, this can be a great time of healing—for the past, the present, and the future. Saturn, the mighty planet of karma and life lessons, will soar into the reefs of Pisces from September 1, 2025 to February 13, 2026 once and final time. Important learning curves and karmic transitions will take place in regards to all areas that Pisces rules: spirituality, creativity, psychology, mental health, prescriptions, prisons, the unconscious, and healing. Important information about fear, anxiety, and addictions will emerge in the period to come. Karma will come before us and we will find it is time to heal it and let it go. This will be a tremendous period for releasing anything that is holding us back from ascending to our highest good. False prophets, gurus, and secret societies will fall, as well as a streamlining of mainstream spirituality and religion. There will likely be a major overhaul in regards to the medical, psychological, and prison systems. Secrets hidden and disguised in the past thirty years could be aired out in our lives and on a global scale, too. There will be a great focus on how we rest, “escape reality,” and live in illusions or delusions. The key will be to face the truth rather than running away. Neptune, the Great Diffuser, will venture into the realm of Aries for the first time in nearly 165 years. The last time Neptune was in Aries was during the American Civil War. Neptune is in Aries from March 30, 2025, to October 22, 2025, and later from January 26, 2026, to May 21, 2038, and then October 21, 2038, to March 23, 2039. Neptune, as a planetary archetype, brings spirituality, emotion, healing, and imagination to the realm that it occupies. These are the heightened vibrations we can expect. However, it also brings illusion, delusion, escapism, fantasy, manipulation, addiction, and imprisonment. Because of this, as Neptune moves through Aries, we will face the highs and lows of the Aries themes. Aries-ruled industries and projects will be touched by Neptunian spirituality, imagination, or delusion—“being the first to market,” “being the one breaking ground,” and beyond. The following industries will see evolution in the years to come: sports, gambling, theme parks, military and weapons, metal, cars, facial beauty products and reconstruction, anything facial-oriented, meat, and anything entrepreneurial or thrill seeking. We will likely witness the emergence of new spiritual, creative, and psychological leaders, too—who may pave the path to new movements, particularly in relation to the individual “owning their power and destiny.” Neptune Retrograde begins on July 4, 2025 at 2 degrees of Aries. Neptune will turn direct later in the year on December 10, 2025 at 29 degrees of Pisces.

Neptune, planet of illusion and mystery, returns to the zodiac sign of Pisces on October 22, 2025 until January 26, 2026. Neptune is the planet of spirituality and transcendence—helping us to see beyond flesh and bone deep into the soul. This powerful energy can be funneled in positive means: bringing you the greatest union of true love with a soul mate or inspiring a brilliant masterpiece that inspires the world. However, it can also cause a darker vibration to emerge within people, that of gas lighting, addictions, and deception. In Pisces, Neptune heightens our intuition. Listen to the voice inside of you and watch for messages from the Universe. It is subtly guiding you. Your soul’s purpose can be illuminated when you search for it through spiritual and creative means.

Pluto, the planet of rebirth, death, transformation, and domination, will orbit in Aquarius until March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces. We are officially entering the Age of Aquarius on more a profound level as Pluto inches ever closer to where the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place at the end of 2020. This will set off a chain reaction of events that will unfold over the coming two decades ahead. Pluto is a planet of intensity, destruction, transformation and rebirth. In a sense, Pluto is like a phoenix — burning down what does not work in order to rise again. Plutonian energy is very often malefic — bringing forth dramatic and painful experiences in order to shed light on truth and bring us incredibly profound growth. On one hand, Pluto can provide tremendous opportunities for renewal, new beginnings and spiritual and financial growth. However, the negative aspects of this mighty planet often lead to obsession, victimization, domination, power struggles, tyrannical control, war and death. All of the themes that Aquarius rules will experience upheaval during this time: social organization, social media, the Internet, humanitarianism, technology, equality and civil rights, socialism, space travel and exploration, and astrology. On January 10, 2025, Pluto will enter pre-shadow and begin to slow down (at 1 degrees Aquarius). Pluto retrograde begins on May 4, 2025 (at 3 degrees Aquarius). The intensity of Pluto’s energy will be turned within and less vivid in our physical worlds, which could lighten some of the karmic lessons. From July 7, 2025 until November 7, 2025, Uranus dances into the skies of Gemini. This will echo out into the second half of the decade. Everything that Gemini rules will be open to upheaval, radical change, and a more futuristic flair: communications (such as advertising, branding, marketing, podcasting, blogging, web design, and all industries connected to these areas and to a limited degree of publishing, but especially short-form content), the mind, travel (especially short-distance travel), academics and learning, and social media. It is also likely to note that during this transit, life will “speed up” even more rapidly, as we are inundated with stimuli at nearly every turn. Because of this, there may even be a movement of people who seek to “detach” from the constant receipt of technology and information and who instead prioritize a very different approach. Those who work in Gemini-ruled businesses will experience powerful transformations and may rise in prominence, influence, and power—especially if they take an “outside of the box” approach: writers, speakers, education, travel, communications, air-related industries, aeronautics, journalism, linguistics, tourism, and to a limited degree, politics. Last to note is that as an Air sign, we can expect actual switches in air on our planet: air pollution, cloud cover, the jet stream, storms (especially windstorms, dust storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes), air-borne viruses, and around animals that soar through the skies. (This is doubly impactful due to Pluto in Aquarius, a fellow Air sign, for two decades.) Uranus will retrograde on September 5, 2025, so watch for important news in the week that surrounds this (depending on where Uranus is in your natal chart and for your zodiac sign). Uranus will be retrograde until February 3, 2026 (watch for important news near this date) and will leave post-shadow on May 21, 2026 (again watch for news popping up now near this date, as well.)

Mercury dances into the zodiac sign of Libra on September 18, 2025 until October 6, 2025. All negotiations will become blessed with an easier and more fair-minded flow. Relationship topics will be on the top of our minds, as we want to make sure we are on the same page as our lovers, friends, collaborators, and business associates. Next, Mercury decides to spin in the intense, passionate, and emotional seas of Scorpio from October 6, 2025 until October 29, 2025, meaning that our minds will even take a deep dive into our desires. Our conscious minds will be more open to the wells of unconscious, as Scorpio’s energy is probing and fathomless. We may suddenly become obsessed with ideas or concepts. Our darker nature may emerge at this time and our shadow self could be rearing its hunger for us to confront. What are you running from, hiding from, or fearful to face? No matter who you are, by being aware of your shadow self, you can better integrate your awareness with your consciousness. As night cannot exist without day, darkness cannot exist without light. This is a time when there will be more synchronicities, as we will feel a more electrical energy running through the cosmos. We may feel a bit more “on edge,” as we sense something major is just around the corner. Because of this, we will begin to notice major beginning, endings, turning points, culminations, and shifts of fate. Pay attention to your intuition to see what it is picking up. We are in eclipse season until October 21, 2025.

The Hunter’s Moon arrives on October 6, 2025. It will be a supermoon—which means that the moon will be closer to Earth than normal at this time. It is the first supermoon in 2025! It will reach fullness at 11:47 PM (Eastern) or 8:47 PM (Pacific). It is the first of three consecutive supermoons this autumn season! This year, the Hunter’s Moon will also be referred to as the Harvest Moon! This is because it is the full moon arriving closest to the Autumn Equinox. The Hunter’s Moon was very important for Native American tribes and colonial farmers because it signaled the period in the year when it was crucial to gather meat to prepare for the winter months. Because the harvests were usually reaped in late September or early October, now it was much easier to see deer, fox and other animal game. This year, the Hunter’s Moon is also a full moon in Aries (14 degrees). The energy of this Fire sign will bring momentum, enthusiasm and passion to our lives. A new moon in Libra (28 degrees) takes place on October 21, 2025. It appears at 5:25 AM (Pacific). The energy of this elemental Air sign will be quite prominent in our lives at this time.
