SEPTEMBER 2025 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

September could be one of the most monumental months of the entire year. In truth, some people will find major breakthroughs and feel that this is the month that made dreams come true—while others may feel like they’ve been shot down from the universe and have to grieve goals not coming to fruition. This is because the cosmic energy this month is all tied to destiny—but also because the planets are in very unique patterns at this time. Note that we are in eclipse season since August 7, 2025 and will continue to be until October 21, 2025—so even though you will likely see the big shifts near the September 7 and September 21 dates—things may take some time to fully come to light. Also, the eclipse cycle we are in now is directly tied back to 19 years ago—so look back to then if you can—and also more recently in 2015 and 2016. Similar themes could all be emerging once again. Saturn, planet of structure, returns to Pisces this month until February 2026 and Uranus, planet of evolution, will fall asleep in Gemini, too. One last thing I will mention here prior to your individual horoscopes is that Jupiter, planet of expansion, will link in a gorgeous trine with the North Node—or point of destiny—on September 3. While this energy can linger for weeks before and after, it will likely present a destined and fated “lucky opportunity” from the universe to you—one that is meant for you in this lifetime. Jupiter, our planet of blessings, will journey into the zodiac sign of Cancer beginning on June 9, 2025 to remain until June 30, 2026. This is one of the most fortunate periods of the Jupiterian cycle, as our Great Benefic is known to be “exalted” in this Water sign. This means that our mighty planet can distribute his greatest blessings, luck, and opportunities to the entire world—regardless of one’s individual zodiac sign. Jupiter, as an archetypical influence, is tied to spirituality, hope, compassion, good will, fortune, favor, generosity, optimism, and faith. Cancer, as a Cardinal Water sign, is aligned with emotion, our roots, family, domesticity, and the home. Yet, the best part of this particular transit is that Jupiter can radiate true humanitarian compassion, allowing us to work in serenity, at peace, and with love. With so much sensitive energy being amplified through the cosmos, this can be a great time of healing—for the past, the present, and the future. The last time Jupiter was in Cancer was from June 25, 2023 until July 16, 2014—so be sure to look back to world events and what was happening in your life to better understand what similar effects may manifest. On a collective level, people will seek a greater level of inner peace. All people’s personal lives should see blessings. Land, houses, real estate, interior design, homemaking, hospitality industries, healing work, and industries tied to the past such as archaeology and ancestry and history will flourish. It is also important to note that while Cancer rules the natural fourth house, seeds and plans laid down now are built on a firm foundation and can aid us in engaging our energies and building some of our greatest legacies and victories in the long run in the coming decade ahead. Jupiter enters pre-shadow: August 17, 2025 (15 degrees Cancer); Jupiter retrograde begins: November 11, 2025 (25 degrees Cancer); Jupiter turns direct: March 10, 2026 (15 degrees Cancer); Jupiter post-shadow ends: June 6, 2026 (25 degrees Cancer).

Saturn, the mighty planet of karma and life lessons, will soar into the reefs of Pisces from September 1, 2025 to February 13, 2026 once and final time. Important learning curves and karmic transitions will take place in regards to all areas that Pisces rules: spirituality, creativity, psychology, mental health, prescriptions, prisons, the unconscious, and healing. Important information about fear, anxiety, and addictions will emerge in the period to come. Karma will come before us and we will find it is time to heal it and let it go. This will be a tremendous period for releasing anything that is holding us back from ascending to our highest good. False prophets, gurus, and secret societies will fall, as well as a streamlining of mainstream spirituality and religion. There will likely be a major overhaul in regards to the medical, psychological, and prison systems. Secrets hidden and disguised in the past thirty years could be aired out in our lives and on a global scale, too. There will be a great focus on how we rest, “escape reality,” and live in illusions or delusions. The key will be to face the truth rather than running away. Those who do so may suffer great losses and further build toxic karma that will need to be resolved in the future or in lives to come.

Neptune, the Great Diffuser, will venture into the realm of Aries for the first time in nearly 165 years. The last time Neptune was in Aries was during the American Civil War. Neptune is in Aries from March 30, 2025, to October 22, 2025, and later from January 26, 2026, to May 21, 2038, and then October 21, 2038, to March 23, 2039. Neptune, as a planetary archetype, brings spirituality, emotion, healing, and imagination to the realm that it occupies. These are the heightened vibrations we can expect. However, it also brings illusion, delusion, escapism, fantasy, manipulation, addiction, and imprisonment. Because of this, as Neptune moves through Aries, we will face the highs and lows of the Aries themes. Aries-ruled industries and projects will be touched by Neptunian spirituality, imagination, or delusion—“being the first to market,” “being the one breaking ground,” and beyond. The following industries will see evolution in the years to come: sports, gambling, theme parks, military and weapons, metal, cars, facial beauty products and reconstruction, anything facial-oriented, meat, and anything entrepreneurial or thrill seeking. Self-help and wellness companies that focus on “being a leader” and “stepping into your power” will face judgement, particularly in regards to those who are healing and helpful versus those who are deceptive and con artists. However, it is also crucial to note that now that we all live in the digital world of “self-promotion”—this ties to any social media or branding presence. These, too, will be up for a deeper analysis on what is “real” and “unreal.” How one promotes, what one promotes, or what one has pursued will all be up for review. Battle, conflict, and war will become more spiritual and psychological. We will likely witness the emergence of new spiritual, creative, and psychological leaders, too—who may pave the path to new movements, particularly in relation to the individual “owning their power and destiny.” Neptune Retrograde begins on July 4, 2025 at 2 degrees of Aries. Neptune will turn direct later in the year on December 10, 2025 at 10 degrees of Pisces.

Pluto, the planet of rebirth, death, transformation, and domination, will orbit in Aquarius until March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces. We are officially entering the Age of Aquarius on more a profound level as Pluto inches ever closer to where the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place at the end of 2020. This will set off a chain reaction of events that will unfold over the coming two decades ahead. Pluto is a planet of intensity, destruction, transformation and rebirth. In a sense, Pluto is like a phoenix — burning down what does not work in order to rise again. Plutonian energy is very often malefic — bringing forth dramatic and painful experiences in order to shed light on truth and bring us incredibly profound growth. On one hand, Pluto can provide tremendous opportunities for renewal, new beginnings and spiritual and financial growth. However, the negative aspects of this mighty planet often lead to obsession, victimization, domination, power struggles, tyrannical control, war and death. All of the themes that Aquarius rules will experience upheaval during this time: social organization, social media, the Internet, humanitarianism, technology, equality and civil rights, socialism, space travel and exploration, and astrology. On January 10, 2025, Pluto will enter pre-shadow and begin to slow down (at 1 degrees Aquarius). Pluto retrograde begins on May 4, 2025 (at 3 degrees Aquarius). The intensity of Pluto’s energy will be turned within and less vivid in our physical worlds, which could lighten some of the karmic lessons. Pluto will turn direct in Aquarius on October 13, 2025 (at 1 degrees Aquarius).

From July 7, 2025 until November 7, 2025, Uranus dances into the skies of Gemini. This will echo out into the second half of the decade. Everything that Gemini rules will be open to upheaval, radical change, and a more futuristic flair: communications (such as advertising, branding, marketing, podcasting, blogging, web design, and all industries connected to these areas and to a limited degree of publishing, but especially short-form content), the mind, travel (especially short-distance travel), academics and learning, and social media. It is also likely to note that during this transit, life will “speed up” even more rapidly, as we are inundated with stimuli at nearly every turn. Because of this, there may even be a movement of people who seek to “detach” from the constant receipt of technology and information and who instead prioritize a very different approach. Those who work in Gemini-ruled businesses will experience powerful transformations and may rise in prominence, influence, and power—especially if they take an “outside of the box” approach: writers, speakers, education, travel, communications, air-related industries, aeronautics, journalism, linguistics, tourism, and to a limited degree, politics. Last to note is that as an Air sign, we can expect actual switches in air on our planet: air pollution, cloud cover, the jet stream, storms (especially windstorms, dust storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes), air-borne viruses, and around animals that soar through the skies. (This is doubly impactful due to Pluto in Aquarius, a fellow Air sign, for two decades.) Uranus will retrograde on September 5, 2025, so watch for important news in the week that surrounds this (depending on where Uranus is in your natal chart and for your zodiac sign). Uranus will be retrograde until February 3, 2026 (watch for important news near this date) and will leave post-shadow on May 21, 2026 (again watch for news popping up now near this date, as well.)

Mercury will become a supercharged battery in Leo June 26, 2025 until September 2, 2025. Our thoughts, words, and texts will be grand and theatrical. We likely will feel more expressive and confident. We can be especially persuasive at this time—but may be a bit more interested in our own ideas than others. Command a room with your speech and watch people be awe inspired by you. Mercury will then move through Virgo from September 2, 2025 until September 18, 2025, where it will feel quite at home. For the coming weeks, we will buckle down to truly assess our lives and make sure we have the information we need to make all of our most important decisions. We want to be concise, precise, and efficient in all that we say and do. Mercury then dances into the zodiac sign of Libra on September 18, 2025 until October 6, 2025. All negotiations will become blessed with an easier and more fair-minded flow. Relationship topics will be on the top of our minds, as we want to make sure we are on the same page as our lovers, friends, collaborators, and business associates.

Our beloved planet of pleasure and beauty, Venus, becomes ignited within the zodiac sign of Leo from August 25, 2025 until September 19, 2025. Feel the surge of adrenaline! We will be bolder in pursuing our heart’s desires and plans. In Leo, our radiant goddess planet will inspire us to create the love story of our dreams and express our affection through grand gestures. Now is one of the best times of the year for singles to connect with new options as Venus feels especially fired up right now. From September 19, 2025 until October 13, 2025, our goddess planet, Venus, will dance through the abundant gardens of Virgo. During this time, we express our love and affection through practical means and crave relationships that are more stable. We may become more focused on being giving to those we care for—whether that is through actions, helping out, or attending to the details they crave. Fiery Mars energizes the zodiac sign of Libra from August 6, 2025 until September 22, 2025. During this period, relationship matters will become especially important to us—whether they be romantic, business, or collaborative. Flying solo won’t interest us quite as much at this time. Instead, we are more likely to do what it takes to work together. This can lead us to take a more indirect approach to getting what we want or even engage in passive-aggression if we are feeling frustrated in our unions. As of August 7, 2025, we are officially entering eclipse season. Eclipse season officially begins one month prior to the first eclipse and lasts for one month after the final one. This is a time when there will be more synchronicities, as we will feel a more electrical energy running through the cosmos. We may feel a bit more “on edge,” as we sense something major is just around the corner. Because of this, we will begin to notice major beginning, endings, turning points, culminations, and shifts of fate. Pay attention to your intuition to see what it is picking up. We are in eclipse season until October 21, 2025.

The Corn Moon arrives on September 7, 2025 at 11:09 AM (Pacific) or 2:09 PM (Eastern) at 15 degrees of Pisces. This will be a Blood Moon, when the moon falls into Earth’s shadow and becomes a dark brown, red, or orange color in the heavens above. This is the longest total lunar eclipse since 2022. Totality will be visible from Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The following regions will also be able to see it, at least partially: Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, West in North America, East in South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica. The penumbral eclipse begins at 11:28 AM (Eastern). The partial eclipse begins at 1:27 PM (Eastern). The full eclipse begins at 1:30 PM (Eastern). The maximum eclipse occurs at 2:11 PM (Eastern). The full eclipse ends at 2:52 PM (Eastern). The partial eclipse ends at 3:56 PM (Eastern). The penumbral eclipse ends at 4:55 PM (Eastern). The overall duration is 5 hours, 27 minutes. The duration of totality is 1 hour, 22 minutes. This year, the Corn Moon is also a lunar eclipse in Pisces. This Water sign’s energy will be infused into our lives. Pisces is the twelfth—and last—zodiac sign on the wheel and is the polarity of Virgo. This means that both zodiac signs hold ties to our health—physical or mental—as well the physical or spiritual world. This duality grounds us in the practical while also opening us up to the divine, as well. The situations and conversations coming to culmination now will be connected to the patterns that originated at the new moon in Pisces (9 degrees) after February 27, 2025. Lunar eclipses are three times more powerful and emotional than full moons. They mark culminations, breakthroughs or breakdowns, triggering a crisis event that causes us to assess our most internal fears, feelings and actions. Oftentimes some of the most memorable moments in our lifetimes take place near solar or lunar eclipses. When it comes to astrological energy coloring this lunation, there is much to consider. First, the lunation is in a sweet trine with Jupiter. This brings joyous feelings, emotional growth, and self-understanding. Our positive moods and increased popularity can aid our personal and professional lives. We may feel more relaxed and creative. Good news that arrives now will deliver blessings to our lives. However, the lunation is opposite Mercury, which can create a significant need to balance our minds and emotions – but our feelings and moods may get the best of us. Neptune, the planetary ruler of this lunation, will be conjunct Saturn and exactly sextile Uranus and Pluto. This creates a golden triangle in the heavens, revealing that situations coming to fruition or moving forward now can promote long-term growth, stability, and progress personally or professionally. Our intuitive natures and the spiritual forces at work within the universe will be especially active and we may feel a “finger of God” or fate working through society and our lives.

Next, the solar eclipse will take place on September 21, 2025 (29 degrees Virgo). The first location to see the partial eclipse begin will see it at 1:29 PM (Eastern). The maximum eclipse occurs at 3:41 PM (Eastern). The last location to see the partial eclipse end will occur at 5:53 PM (Eastern). As for humanity, 16,600,000 people will see a part of this eclipse (.2% of the world), with about 409,000 people seeing as much as 70% of the partial eclipse (which is .004% of the world population). Regions that will be able to see the solar eclipse, at least partially, are the South in Australia, Pacific, Atlantic, Antarctica. This lunation will be a solar eclipse in Virgo (29 degrees). The energy of this elemental Earth sign will be quite prominent in our lives at this time. Virgo is the sixth zodiac sign on the wheel and aligns with our daily routines, responsibilities and employment. It rules our work-related projects, as well as coworkers, staff and people that report to us. Physical fitness, diet and health are also under this domain. Pets, too, can be spot lit at this time. When it comes to astrological energy affecting this lunation, there is much to consider. First and foremost, this lunation will bring significant challenges to some people—while others may feel destiny redirecting them in majestic ways. This is because the lunation is exactly opposite Saturn, planet of structure, and Neptune, planet of spirituality. Unfortunately, oppositions usually trigger hardship, roadblocks, and conflict with someone of significance – and with these being outer planets these could be very important people to you or else someone who is an authority or deceiver. Some people may suffer from depression, bad news, delusion, or illusion at this time because of this, as well. Yet, the lunation is trine Uranus, revealing that if we think outside of the box and try to find unique solutions we may be rewarded. It is also trine Pluto, meaning that even if we face a need for a “rebirth,” doing so can bring radical transformation to our lives. Next, the lunation is in a conjunction with Mercury, which foretells the ability to brainstorm or communicate ideas with grace, despite a flurry of daily activity forcing us to juggle many things. Mercury is the planetary ruler of this lunation, and although it is opposite Neptune, bringing smokescreens to our vision or confusion to our minds, it is also trine Uranus and Pluto, once again emphasizing a need to pursue new ideas and deep levels of transformation.

To end the month, the Sun will move on into the partnership-focused zodiac sign of Libra on September 22. Libra Season will last for the entire month ahead and during this time, we will turn our attention to how we are cooperating with the people around us—or if we need to reassess and renegotiate where we stand. Come from a place of serenity and harmony in your relationships, rather than co-dependency.
