MAY 2026 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

Welcome to May—one of my favorite months in 2026. We are free of major retrogrades and in the Northern Hemisphere experiencing the full bloom of the spring season. We have a lot of very positive energy this month, but it is important to note that we have a lot to juggle, too. This is especially noticeable because we have three key lunations taking place—a full moon at the beginning and end of the month, as well as a new moon in the center. This means that there will be a need to pivot a lot. Also, last month we watched as Uranus, the Great Awakener, officially entered into Gemini to remain until the early 2030s. While not everyone will feel the lightning that this creates right away, you should pay attention to your monthly horoscope as I address where you could see great evolution in the years to come. Now let’s dive into the cosmos!

Jupiter, our planet of blessings, will journey into the zodiac sign of Cancer beginning on June 9, 2025 to remain until June 30, 2026. This is one of the most fortunate periods of the Jupiterian cycle, as our Great Benefic is known to be “exalted” in this Water sign. This means that our mighty planet can distribute his greatest blessings, luck, and opportunities to the entire world—regardless of one’s individual zodiac sign. Jupiter, as an archetypical influence, is tied to spirituality, hope, compassion, good will, fortune, favor, generosity, optimism, and faith. Cancer, as a Cardinal Water sign, is aligned with emotion, our roots, family, domesticity, and the home. Yet, the best part of this particular transit is that Jupiter can radiate true humanitarian compassion, allowing us to work in serenity, at peace, and with love. With so much sensitive energy being amplified through the cosmos, this can be a great time of healing—for the past, the present, and the future. The last time Jupiter was in Cancer was from June 25, 2023 until July 16, 2014—so be sure to look back to world events and what was happening in your life to better understand what similar effects may manifest. On a collective level, people will seek a greater level of inner peace. All people’s personal lives should see blessings. Land, houses, real estate, interior design, homemaking, hospitality industries, healing work, and industries tied to the past such as archaeology and ancestry and history will flourish. Connections to one’s roots, traditions, family, and parents may grow. Finding comfort, support, and faith will be important to us. It is also important to note that while Cancer rules the natural fourth house, seeds and plans laid down now are built on a firm foundation and can aid us in engaging our energies and building some of our greatest legacies and victories in the long run in the coming decade ahead. Saturn, the planet of life lessons and karma, will visit the heavens of Aries from February 13, 2026 until April 12, 2028. As it is the planet of hardship but also perseverance, we will find that we face karmic lessons on how we have utilized our Aries energy. Aries rules self-promotion, our face and head, our independence and individuality, as well as innate desires, passions, and plans. Aries also aligns with war, anger, and conquest, and we will find that we individually face a reckoning around how we have pursued these areas of our lives in the past three decades. When it comes to global affairs, there will be karmic decisions and situations around Aries-ruled industries and projects—“being the first to market,” “being the one breaking ground,” and beyond. The following industries will see challenges, restrictions, or revisions: sports, gambling, theme parks, military and weapons, metal, cars, facial beauty products and reconstruction, anything facial-oriented, meat, and anything entrepreneurial or thrill seeking. Self-help and wellness companies that focus on “being a leader” and “stepping into your power” will face judgement. However, it is also crucial to note that now that we all live in the digital world of “self-promotion,” which ties to any social media or branding presence, these, too, will be up for judgment and karmic changes. How one promotes, what one promotes, or what one has pursued will all be up for review. There will likely be certain “tough love” that comes to each of us and we will witness a sharp contrast between what people think is “healthy ego” versus “unhealthy ego.” On a negative note, this could once again stir karmic battles, conflicts, and war as a need to face the devastation that can come from them. Neptune, the Great Diffuser, will venture into the realm of Aries for the first time in nearly 165 years as of January 26, 2026 to May 21, 2038, and then October 21, 2038, to March 23, 2039. Neptune, as a planetary archetype, brings spirituality, emotion, healing, and imagination to the realm that it occupies. These are the heightened vibrations we can expect. However, it also brings illusion, delusion, escapism, fantasy, manipulation, addiction, and imprisonment. Because of this, as Neptune moves through Aries, we will face the highs and lows of the Aries themes. Aries-ruled industries and projects will be touched by Neptunian spirituality, imagination, or delusion—“being the first to market,” “being the one breaking ground,” and beyond. The following industries will see evolution in the years to come: sports, gambling, theme parks, military and weapons, metal, cars, facial beauty products and reconstruction, anything facial-oriented, meat, and anything entrepreneurial or thrill seeking. Self-help and wellness companies that focus on “being a leader” and “stepping into your power” will face judgement, particularly in regards to those who are healing and helpful versus those who are deceptive and con artists. However, it is also crucial to note that now that we all live in the digital world of “self-promotion”—this ties to any social media or branding presence. These, too, will be up for a deeper analysis on what is “real” and “unreal.” How one promotes, what one promotes, or what one has pursued will all be up for review. Battle, conflict, and war will become more spiritual and psychological. We will likely witness the emergence of new spiritual, creative, and psychological leaders, too—who may pave the path to new movements, particularly in relation to the individual “owning their power and destiny.” Be aware that the last time this transit took place was during the American Civil War. Pluto, the planet of rebirth, death, transformation, and domination, will orbit in Aquarius until March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces. This will set off a chain reaction of events that will unfold over the coming two decades ahead. Pluto is a planet of intensity, destruction, transformation and rebirth. In a sense, Pluto is like a phoenix — burning down what does not work in order to rise again. Plutonian energy is very often malefic — bringing forth dramatic and painful experiences in order to shed light on truth and bring us incredibly profound growth. On one hand, Pluto can provide tremendous opportunities for renewal, new beginnings and spiritual and financial growth. However, the negative aspects of this mighty planet often lead to obsession, victimization, domination, power struggles, tyrannical control, war and death. All of the themes that Aquarius rules will experience upheaval during this time: social organization, social media, the Internet, humanitarianism, technology, equality and civil rights, socialism, space travel and exploration, and astrology. Pluto retrograde begins on May 5, 2026 (5 degrees Aquarius) and goes until October 15, 2026 (3 degrees Aquarius). Pluto post-shadow ends on February 6, 2027 (5 degrees Aquarius).

Uranus dances into the skies of Gemini beginning April 25, 2026 until 2033. This will echo out into the second half of the decade. Everything that Gemini rules will be open to upheaval, radical change, and a more futuristic flair: communications (such as advertising, branding, marketing, podcasting, blogging, web design, and all industries connected to these areas and to a limited degree of publishing, but especially short-form content), the mind, travel (especially short-distance travel), academics and learning, and social media. It is also likely to note that during this transit, life will “speed up” even more rapidly, as we are inundated with stimuli at nearly every turn. Because of this, there may even be a movement of people who seek to “detach” from the constant receipt of technology and information and who instead prioritize a very different approach. Those who work in Gemini-ruled businesses will experience powerful transformations and may rise in prominence, influence, and power—especially if they take an “outside of the box” approach: writers, speakers, education, travel, communications, air-related industries, aeronautics, journalism, linguistics, tourism, and to a limited degree, politics. Last to note is that as an Air sign, we can expect actual switches in air on our planet: air pollution, cloud cover, the jet stream, storms (especially windstorms, dust storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes), air-borne viruses, and around animals that soar through the skies. (This is doubly impactful due to Pluto in Aquarius, a fellow Air sign, for two decades.)

Our cosmic messenger, Mercury, sizzles on the cliffs of Aries from April 14, 2026 until May 2, 2026. The transit of Mercury in Aries will make our minds especially active and our words sharp! We are less concerned of objective perspectives and more eager to reach a decision rapidly: particularly one that serves us! Our conversations will be more passionate as we channel the bold and assertive nature of Aries. We will want to take the lead in our communications: for better or worse, and we could end up ruffling some feathers. Mercury will gallop through the fields of Taurus from May 2, 2026 until May 17, 2026. During this time, our minds will be more solid, grounded, and practical. We will be eager to focus on common sense and are more deliberate in all of our communications. We won’t be as eager to rock the boat and may find ourselves falling back on traditional thought patterns. We will seek to simplify our lives and boil our plans down to the necessities. The one flaw to be aware of with this energy is that we may become overly stubborn and rigid in our ideas, so it is best to keep an open mind. Then, beginning May 17, 2026 until June 1, 2026, Mercury will dance into his home zodiac sign of Gemini and we will find our minds especially curious about the world and eager to communicate our thoughts and ideas. Venus, planet of love and beauty, ventures into the social zodiac sign of Gemini from April 23, 2026 until May 18, 2026. In Gemini, Venus’s energy will make us want to communicate our love very much—whether through writing or speaking. Many of us could find that our interactions are sweet and enjoyable. Consider ways to express your feelings and emotions through words. Text. FaceTime. DM. Write a long email. Send a handwritten letter. Have a heart-to-heart. Be lively, funny, and charming with your words over the coming months. Be curious about how your love and relationships can grow, change, and show you new colors of life. Take chances in love, but don’t allow yourself to just be fickle. From May 18, 2026 until June 13, 2026, Venus will enter Cancer. Venus loves to be in Cancer, as she can exhibit her sensitive, emotional, and sensual nature so easily. Romance is tender for us all at this time, and we will feel highly protective of everyone we care deeply for. During this period, we will feel drawn to attach ourselves to people and be especially devoted and loyal. Mars becomes ignited in the zodiac sign of Aries from April 9, 2026 until May 18, 2026. When Mars enters a sector of our lives, he energizes it significantly and we tend to see a great deal of momentum build here. Mars burns brightly in Aries, empowering us to pursue our personal goals, ambitions, and put our independence first. This aggressive energy will infuse us and we will be spurned to go after who or what we want impulsively without thinking twice. We will be eager to take the lead, strike out into new territory, and put our own desires and ideas first. We’ll be able to look up into the sky and see it reaching fullness as early as April 28 and it will begin to wane around May 6, 2026. The situations reaching culmination now will be tied to how you were building your life after the new moon in Scorpio (28 degrees) on November 20, 2025. Full moons in Scorpio bring great attention to how we share resources in our lives and within the world. Striking a balance between what we give and receive will be extremely important and any imbalances within these themes will be tremendously important to face. Investments, assets, and large money matters will be rocked by this full moon. Also, as Scorpio is the zodiac sign that rules intimacy, sexuality, the shadow self and the occult—these topics will be thrust upon the global stage. Pluto, the primary ruler of this lunation, is engaged in a happy dance with the other planets, though—a trine with Venus, ensuring passion and depth in relationships, a sextile with Saturn, encouraging long-term transformation if we are to seize the day, a trine with Uranus, empowering us to step outside of the box, and last, a sextile with Neptune, heightening our intuition and hunger for wisdom.

The new moon in Taurus (26 degrees) arrives on May 16, 2026 at 1:01 PM (Pacific) or 4:31 PM (Eastern). It is a supermoon. It opens a doorway of opportunity for seven to ten days after it arrives. The situations, plans, conversations, and relationships initiated now will reach culmination near the full moon in Taurus (2 degrees) on October 26, 2026. Any important lunation in Taurus—particularly new moons or full moons—draw attention to what this zodiac sign rules: wealth, income, material possessions, and the physical world in which we live. Ruled by Venus, Taurus also inherently brings attention to what we value, as well as our inherent values, and the worth we place on everything in which we have or desire. The Blue Moon arrives on May 31, 2026 at 1:45 AM (Pacific) in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius (9 degrees). We’ll be able to look up into the sky and see it reaching fullness as early as May 28, 2026 and see it linger until nearly June 4, 2026. The situations that arrive now will be tied to what you were building at the new moon in Sagittarius that arrived on December 20, 2025 (28 degrees). Blue Moons occur approximately every two to three years (roughly about 2.7 years). They appear when a second full moon arrives in the same month.
